FAQ's

IS THE VENUE ACCESSIBLE?

We make sure that every NIPS seminar is accessible to all. Leeds City Museum is both buggy and wheelchair friendly.

HOW DO I GET TO THE VENUE?

All information on Leeds City Museum can be found here [https://www.leeds.gov.uk/museumsandgalleries/leedscitymuseum/visitor-information].

CAN I BRING BY BABY?

If your child is under 1, they can come into the seminar. If they get too upset you might have to take them into the hall, so the audience can hear the speakers.

IS THERE CHILDCARE?

Yes, we have a small amount of childcare spaces available for children aged 1 - 5, provided by A Little Something Extra. The childcare session will run from 10 am - 2 pm in a child-friendly room within the museum. Please email LAUREN@BENIPS.CO.UK if you'd like to book a spot.

WHY IS THE EVENT FILMED AND PHOTOGRAPHED?

We film each event so that those attending can re-cap on anything discussed on the day. This also means those unable to attend can still benefit from the seminar and the knowledge shared. By purchasing a ticket you are confirming you're happy for us to film and photograph the event in it's entirety, which will include potential audience photography to showcase what our seminars look like when celebrating the event online afterwards.

WHAT DO I DO IF TICKETS SELL OUT?

If you missed your chance to buy a ticket you can email lauren@benips.co.uk and ask to go on our waiting list. If someone is unable to attend, they can contact us and we will put them in touch with those on the waiting list.

CAN TICKETS BE REFUNDED?

We can't refund tickets. As we're not funded, NIPS relies on ticket sales to pay for the venue, childcare, film crew and printed material. However, if you're unable to attend you can email lauren@benips.co.uk and we can share your details with someone on our waiting list.

WILL YOU BE SERVING LUNCH?

Unfortunately our budget doesn't stretch that far, however the museum has a cafe and there are lots of eating options close by. You can also bring a packed lunch into the venue.
