High Life

High Life

Monte (Robert Pattinson), and his baby daughter Willow, are the two surviving members of a dangerous space-mission to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Once manned by a chaotic crew of convicts, the mission was overseen by Dr. Dibs (Juliette Binoche) - who had her own dark and peculiar motivations for being on board.

Revered for her incredible directorial talent and versatility, French auteur Claire Denis (Beau Travail, 35 Shots of Rum) triumphs with High Life, her English-language debut. Fearless, daring and visually arresting, there are echoes of Tarkovsky and Kubrick in Denis’ startlingly original take on the sci-fi genre which explores the fragility and complexity of the human psyche to dizzying effect.
