TCV Hollybush and Friends of Hollybush proudly present.

The conclusion to a year long exploration of the stories behind Hollybush, the environmental volunteering centre in Kirkstall. The training, research and production of the book were funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund

John Preston, project lead and former Centre Manager,  will make a short personal reflection on the importance of oral history

Amy-Jane Beer, wildlife author and Guardian Country diarist, will introduce the book and be in conversation with

* Giles Cooper, Field Officer 1979-1982
* Jessica Duffy, Project officer 1986 – 2016
* Liz Boyd and Lisa Bedford  current volunteers and members of the History Group

Clare Wigzell, a Kirkstall poet, will conclude

By Car:

Follow signs for Leeds city centre. On approaching the city, follow signs for the City Loop. The loop road take you past the Library on the right (just after the Town Hall), with the closest car park being The Light.

By Public Transport:

From Leeds train station, walk up Park Row to The Headrow. Cross the road and turn left. The Library is next to the Art Gallery on your right, with and outdoor chessboard, outside the entance. There are two entrances - one for disabled access and one via steps.
