Little Reliance Cinema and Mashiya present Harvey

Little Reliance Cinema and Mashiya present Harvey

Set over the course of a single day, Harvey (1950) is a charming comedy starring James Stewart as the affable and wealthy alcoholic Elwood P. Dowd, whose best friend is a 6ft three-and-a-half-inch invisible rabbit. Originally a play by Mary Chase, this delightful film highlights different perceptions of life's most important values and is filled with heart-warming sentiments and hilarious misunderstandings. The memorable yet unseen character Harvey has been widely referenced in popular culture, cropping up everywhere from The Simpsons, to Who Framed Roger Rabbit, to The Shawshank Redemption.
