The Foundry Restaurant & Bar opened in November 2005 by founders Phil Richardson & Shaun Davies who are both proud Yorkshire men with over 50 years’ restaurant experience between them. The philosophy is simple: to find the best local produce, meat from the Dales, fish from Whitby on the East Coast, game from the Yorkshire Moors and artisan wine from quality independent merchants.

The embracing and lively bar offers British menu with a twist in warm surroundings and has a reputation a local bar for local people offering the best in local produce. The extensive wine list features more than 100 house and speciality wines, as well as local beers, spirits, hot drinks and juices.
