The new arts building at Leeds Arts University will officially open with an exhibition by international artist Yoko Ono.

Yoko Ono (b.1933) is a renowned multimedia artist and peace activist. A chief proponent of the Fluxus movement, Yoko Ono is known for her performance and instruction based artworks which have been shown internationally. For this exhibition, a selection of her interactive installations, Wish Trees, Mend Piece, Add Color Painting (Refugee Boat), and ARISING, will be on display.

Arriving by Car: Follow the signs for the City Centre, Leeds General Infirmary and the Universities. The Blenheim Walk building is situated on Blenheim Walk, at the top of Woodhouse Lane, opposite the Parkinson Tower of the University of Leeds.

Arriving by Rail:
The City Centre building is a ten minute walk from Leeds City Station, and Blenheim Walk is a further ten minute walk from there. Taxis are available from the station forecourts.

Arriving by Air: Leeds Bradford International Airport is about eight miles from the city centre. Manchester Airport has regular, direct rail connections to Leeds City Station.

Arriving by Bus: There are buses every five minutes that go past the City Centre and Blenheim Walk buildings that you can catch from the bus station or Quebec Street.
