The Leeds International Piano Competition presents the inaugural Leeds Piano Festival.

Lars Vogt’s exceptional versatility as a performer allows him to range between the core classical repertoire of Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann and Brahms to Romantic composers Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov through to the dazzling piano works of 20th Century Polish composer Lutoslawski.

His programme for the Howard Assembly Room includes Beethoven’s Sonata No 23 in F minor, 'Appassionata', Mozart’s Piano Sonata No 2 in F major and Schoenberg’s Six Little Piano Pieces.
