Talking Histories: Urban Development of Leeds

Talking Histories: Urban Development of Leeds

From medieval township to complex 21st-century city, Leeds has grown, changed and been reinvented as a result of a number of powerful forces. But the process hasn’t always been straightforward or completely successful. Urban geographer Rachael Unsworth will explain how economic, demographic, technological, social, cultural and political factors influence change, and what Leeds’ prospects are for the future.

If you’d like to make an evening of your visit to Left Bank Leeds, why not stay for LEFT BANK CINEMA: THE BENTLEY EFFECT [] at 8pm? It focuses on a peaceful and strategic community protest movement against the development of a unique part of Australia. CLICK THROUGH TO THAT PAGE TO PURCHASE A DISCOUNTED TICKET FOR BOTH EVENTS. You can grab a drink and a snack from the bar in between.

All money raised through this event supports the development of Left Bank Leeds Charitable Trust, (charity no. 1146734).

_Please note, we take photos at our events for marketing purposes. If you would prefer not to appear in our images, it is your responsibility to speak to a member of staff at the event, in order to seek out the photographer and inform them of your wishes._
