The Warehouse

This is the place that started it all, opening up even before the Hacienda. From the late 70s, The Warehouse introduced a whole new culture and became the epicentre of music and clubbing in the north of England.

The Warehouse has played host to some memorable bands and DJs over the years with everyone from Frankie Goes to Hollywood to Sugar Hill Gang, Oasis to The Stone Roses, Sasha, Greg Wilson, LFO and Mike Pickering.

Brand new Funktion One Dance Stacks tower above the dancefloor as well mind blowing lighting rigs, colour lasers and CO2 jets. Upstairs in the Loft relax among exposed brick and huge wooden beams, fireplaces and sash windows in the sumptuous second room.

The Warehouse hosts a number of regular nights alongside huge one-off specials, with the world’s finest DJs and live acts from house, electro, techno, dubstep and DnB, all playing on a regular basis.

Established local brands like tech house party Filth to huge London dubstep night Spectrum join new nights Function and Coloursound, unhinged yahoos Ketoloco and labels including Cadenza will all pass through the doors to the delight of clubbers looking for a party atmosphere second to none. After a five year break from the clubbing scene, the original outlandish, weird and wonderful SpeedQueen is also back onboard, bringing with it desires and delights!
