Leeds Central Library
Leeds Central Library is a public library, situated in the city centre on Calverley Street, it houses the city library service’s single largest general lending and reference collection. The grade-II listed building opened in 1884, with beautiful staircases and colourful tiles all around, it is a must-see to read and study, admire the art, or enjoy a beverage in the Tiled Hall cafe.
The library has free internet access for public use, holiday activities for all age groups and photocopying facilities. Friendly staff are always available to help you find the information you need.
