Family Friendly Days Out

When it comes to fun-filled days out for the whole family, look no further than Leeds’ line-up of fantastic attractions. There is Tropical World, a popular family attraction, where little adventurers can explore tropical habitats and encounter exotic animals – make sure to say hi to the meerkats from us!
Across the city’s gorgeous historic estates you will find plenty to get the whole family excited. Visit Lotherton Wildlife World, housed in the stunning gardens of Lotherton Hall, and meet our playful penguins. Wander through the colourful Bird Garden of Harewood House and fall in love with the hundreds of farm animals to be found at Temple Newsam – and while you are out there, try Go Ape, perfect for adventureres whatever your age.
Speaking of adventure, a trip to the enchanted forest at the majestic Stockeld Park has a fun day out written all over it, as does taking in a wildlife-filled trail on the island of Thwaite Mill – make sure to pack a picnic.
