Ambiente Tapas is an independent Spanish restaurant and sherry bar situated on Call Lane in the heart of Leeds. Its location in a Grade II listed building, formerly a warehouse, has retained its bare brick walls, stripped back floors and exposed steelwork resulting a casual & relaxed dining environment reminiscent of those social tabancos in Southern Spain.

Our restaurant is the perfect spot to spend a leisurely few hours enjoying our modern take on some of Spain’s classics, think old favourites like Patatas Bravas and Calamares as well as dishes like our famous Chorizo y Patatas. Our food is all locally sourced where possible and we cater to all dietary requirements as well as having an extensive vegetarian and vegan range! Glimpse into our kitchen and you’ll see our busy chefs cooking tapas to order and mastering our firebreathing barbecue Josper oven.

Our well-researched drinks list offers a host of Spanish-inspired liquid refreshments, including wine, sherry, sangria and beer, that will compliment your meal perfectly and, for those just wanting a drink with a light bite, our our bar area is the ideal location. If the weather is favourable, our south facing balcony overlooking the River Aire is a perfect spot for whiling away a leisurely hour or two enjoying some tapas & sherry.
