The Yorkshire County Cricket Club Official Museum

The Yorkshire Cricket Museum will educate and inspire visitors in Yorkshire’s cricketing heritage.

A striking collage of the twenty grounds where Yorkshire have played first greets visitors as they walk into the reception area. Once past reception, the museum is subdivided into a number of themed zones such as ‘The Early Years’ and ‘Yorkshire Legends’ before visitors enter a cinema room.

A selection of Bats and Balls used by great players and in significant games are displayed, together with interactive monitors and displays. The major matches in Roses conflicts have dedicated displays, together with other great games.

Of particular significance is the section on Yorkshire legends. No other county can claim such an array of international talent in its history.

In the cinema room, people are able to watch a short film which includes interviews and clips from Yorkshire legends, and other items related to Yorkshire history.

Throughout the Museum there are opportunities for visitors to interact with the exhibits including an electronic books which tell the history of the Club.

The exterior glass line features a striking montage of Yorkshire’s greatest players running along the full length of the Museum area.
