LGBT+ History Month in Leeds

Celebrate LGBT+ History Month in Leeds with a whole rainbow of activities happening across the city this February!
LGBT+ History Month in Leeds - Susan and Sheena
LGBT History Month - The Witch Blair
Leeds LGBT History Month - Hunters

This is the third consecutive year that Leeds City Council has been involved in making LGBT History Month (first instigated in 2005 by Schools OUT UK) an annual event in our great city and there’s a fantastic programme of events for everyone to enjoy. Keep an eye out for our paper programmes - find them in council buildings, LGBT+ community spots, and select venues across the city centre.

LGBT+ History Month 2018’s packed schedule aims to educate out prejudice through events including film screenings, rainbow lit buildings, sports tournaments, LGBT+ history talks, performances and social events to meet people within the LGBT+ community and beyond. Not forgetting Drag Queen Storytime with the fabulous The Witch Blair!

To check out all of the fantastic programme of events online, head to their Leeds Inspired events page here.
