Leather Christmas Candle Decoration Workshop
Create two beautiful natural, British leather and reclaimed wood, candle holders with talented leather worker Catherine Edwards. After choosing from a range of designs you will be guided through the making process under the expert guidance of Catherine. Catherine trained as a boot and shoe maker working for many years before a residency at the Royal Armouries, which led to the production of her first collection of unique leather goods. This festive workshop, making natural leather and reclaimed, hand-turned wood candle holders, will help you learn to create patterns, hand cut and stitch leather and decorate your finished items. Decorate with a choice of red, gold or silver metal leaf, or add your own unique message stamped into the leather. Perfect for your Christmas table or as a special present. Small, friendly, and supervised individually by Catherine, this inspiring workshop is a great way to introduce yourself to working with leather. Suitable for beginners or the more experienced, covering a range of techniques and skills, with tools and materials provided. Workshop suitable for ages 16 years and over. Booking is essential.
