A Proper Merry Christmess
It’s Christmas Eve at West Yorkshire’s (almost) favourite garden centre – and the last chance for one lucky department to win the seasonal bonus. Over at the grotto, a reluctant Santa, relentlessly positive Tree, and stressed-out student Elf all need cash and quick. Forget Christmas miracles, they’ll have to pull together to sleigh this competition.
Only Rudolf’s looking queasy, the decorations dubious and Team Grotto’s struggling to keep their own dysfunctional festivities under wraps. Can they win with Christmas cheer alone? Or will they resort to dirty tricks? Stuff Christmas spirit this is war!
A Proper Merry Christmess is a chaotic Christmas comedy for adults, an antidote to the snowy schmaltz, floppy hair and impossibly big kitchens of the festive romcom. At the time of year when being skint isn’t an option, step into an honest Christmas story, featuring the bits those movies always leave out, actually.
