Arty Facts
A unique opportunity to look closely at objects from the Natural History collection, whilst trying out fun, experimental drawing techniques.
Still life drawings depict objects that are ‘still’ and don’t move. Still life artwork often shows inanimate objects from the natural or man-made world, such as fruit, flowers, and vessels like baskets or bowls. This session will feature an object from our Natural History collection, not usually on display.
Below is a sneak peek at some of our upcoming themes!
Sunday 24 August – Yellow Animals
Sunday 28 September – Autumn Harvest
Sunday 26 October – Halloween Theme
Sunday 23 November – Africa
Sunday 5 December – Australia/New Zealand
