Brighouse & Rastrick Band | Leeds Best of Brass 2023/2024
Formed over 140 years ago, Brighouse & Rastrick Band is regarded by many as the best and most consistent ‘public subscription band’ in the world. 2022 British Open and Brass in Concert Champion, the band has attracted a formidable reputation for entertaining concerts and many notable triumphs in the highly competitive contesting field. Brighouse & Rastrick is known for its famous 1977 hit parade success The Floral Dance for which it won both silver and gold discs for massive record sales. In 2022, the band was delighted to welcome Ian McElligott to the position of Resident Musical Director.
