Bulgarian Dance Rhythms
Evening Classes at Yorkshire Dance
The Bulgarian folklore is a significant part of the Bulgarian culture. The traditional dance called “horo” is a line dance with asymmetrical rhythm and complex repetitive step patterns.
Join us and have fun as this class is an exciting way to feel the magic of Bulgarian dance and culture, challenge your body, release stress, and meet new friends. You are never too young or too old, Bulgarian or not – everyone is welcome to these sessions. We will explore a great variety of Bulgarian dance rhythms, tempos and styles. You don’t need a partner as “horo” are led in a circle or line.
What to Wear
Wear comfortable clothing and shoes or trainers.
