Creative Journalling for Parents
Are you a new parent and keen to find a little time to do something for yourself? This is the perfect class for you to find some time and meet other local parents! A small group of us will be taking over the downstairs at Truly Scrummy in Horsforth. This three part class over three consecutive weeks will introduce you to creative journalling, how to plan a journal to bring you experiences to life, top tips on making it look great and ideas on how to create a special, unique journal. I'll be guiding you through creating a journal, from your very first pregnancy scan, through to photos of your little one(s)' important milestones. You'll need to bring along photos of your baby and any other trinkets you'd like to include in your journal - I'll be sending out information before hand to help with this! We'll also be creating special things in the classes to add to your journal to make it extra special! This class is open to parents to bring your baby along up to crawling - there is plenty of room for prams and there will be play mats and toys for babies to play with. The class will have a relaxed format so if you need to take time out with your baby there's time built in for that! Ticket price includes a cup of tea and all the materials and equipment you need to journal with. I know a lot of people have note pads/sketch books lying around (or a special book!) that you might want to journal into so there's a ticket option to bring your own, or for me to bring one for you. The sketchbook option is for a lovely high quality A3 sketchpad with a hardback cover and 40 sheets of paper. Truly Scrummy is known for its' delicious cakes so perfect to treat yourself to a sweet treat too. No prior experience necessary!
