England Women v Pakistan Women: 3rd Vitality IT20

19th May 2024

Headingley hosts the final IT20 match of England Women’s series against Pakistan on 19th May.

England Women’s captain Heather Knight will lead a talented line-up at Headingley including Nat Sciver-Brunt, the number one ODI batter in the world, Sophie Ecclestone, the number one bowler in the world, and some exciting young talent including Alice Capsey and Lauren Bell. Local talent Bess Heath may also be in the line-up.

Fresh off the spectacle of last year’s ground-breaking joint Men’s and Women’s Ashes, the Pakistan series promises more unmissable action for fans from Yorkshire. Following a record-breaking year in 2023 in both performance and fan attendance, expect next level cricket as England Women look to build momentum ahead of this year’s IT20 World Cup in Bangladesh.

Known for its electric crowds, the Headingley match will not be one to miss, as Leeds locals band together to cheer on England Women in the final IT20 match. Get ready for an incredible night out with big-hitting action and a next level experience as fans from both nations cheer on their teams.

England Women’s bowler Sarah Glenn said: “After the amazing support the fans showed us at last year’s Ashes series, we can’t wait to get going again this summer. It is always a memorable experience playing at Yorkshire, the locals really get behind us and I know they’ll be giving it everything this summer to help take us to the next level.

“We’re really looking forward to hosting Pakistan, they’re a strong team with a lot of talent, and every game we play this summer – in either format – is good preparation for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup later in the year. We owe Headingley a big performance having not been able to play there last summer so hopefully we can get a big turn-out.”

Tickets to watch England Women at Headingley are selling fast, and supporters can make sure they don’t miss out by heading to www.ecb.co.uk/tickets/england. Prices remain great value in line with 2023, starting at £5 for juniors and from £10 for adults.
