Gin and Cheese at Kino
The last of a trio of exclusive tasting events at Opera North's new restaurant offers a chance to sample gins distilled and bottled in Yorkshire by Masons, with premium tonics and mixers from Fever-Tree, perfectly complemented by specially selected cheeses from Chapel Allerton’s award-winning George & Joseph. Since 2013, Masons have distilled award-winning gins from Harrogate spring water, juniper, citrus and a secret combination of botanicals in their 300-litre, flame-heated copper stills. Their award-winning spirits find the perfect mixers in Fever-Tree’s ‘serious soft drinks’. Diners will be treated to three cheese boards over the course of the evening, each loaded with two cheeses, charcuterie*, crackers and accompaniments. Each board will be accompanied by a glass of gin and tonic, with Masons’ artisan distillers on hand to offer tasting notes and information on each variety. * Vegetarian and gluten-free alternatives available. Please make Kino aware of any dietary requirements in advance.
