Hair Of The Dog 2026
Cloth Cat brings you ‘Hair Of The Dog 2026, featuring some of the best uplifting bands from the Leeds area, and may you make this your first live music gig of the new year. There will be good vibes all round with music ranging from jazz to ska and funk, and we’ll be keeping the prices down again to give everyone the opportunity to come down and get their dancing shoes on and make the Brude rock! As our one big annual fundraiser of the year, all the proceeds will go towards paying for our new premises at BEAT (Belonging, Empowering and Thriving) in Hawksworth, where we will be running many of our music based activities, supporting people with the mental health and well-being. We want to keep prices low so everyone can afford to come down and it’s only £8 + BF in advance for what will be a wonderful night whilst knowing that you will be supporting those who really need help.
We really can’t wait for this one and on the bill we have:
10.45-11.45 The Good Foot Collective
They are a 14 piece band playing funk & soul from the 70’s onwards, from James Brown to Aretha Franklin, Gill Scott Heron and Bill Withers. Bringing a message of unity & hope. One love! They played for us at Northern Green Gathering and went down a storm!

9.30 – 10.20 Pepperjam
Pepperjam is a 9-piece band from Hebden Bridge. They are well known for their storming live shows with a great atmosphere, always guaranteed to get everyone up, dancing and in a party mood, whilst still delivering a socially and politically aware message. They are a collection of very experienced musicians and could even be termed ‘old school’ in that ‘what you see is what you get’ with everything in their shows played live, as you see it.
They play all original songs drawing influences from the very wide range of styles. So their material is varied but they still create an easily-identifiable sound that is distinctly ‘Pepperjam’ and always has a back-beat which is irresistible.
The music is rooted in Reggae, Dub, Rocksteady, Ska, Soul, Funk and Jazz but has a rocky, sometimes post-punky edge.

8.20 – 9.05 Hot Squash
Hot Squash are an energetic pop-ska-punk band taking influences from all previous eras of ska, and adding their own unique touches to create an original modern sound. Covering subjects ranging from robotic ex boyfriends and depression, to alien abduction and pancakes.

6.20 – 7.00 Kuro Kamo
They are a stylish 5 piece Leeds based band, with a huge range of influences mainly from Jazz, Funk, and Progressive Rock and sound pretty sleek and polished to us.
