Leeds Craftivists – Climate Racism
Climate change is a racial justice issue.
Western, industrialised countries make up just 20% of the global population, but create 80% of all global emissions. People living in the Global South are the ones dealing with the consequences of our systems.
This Autumn/ Winter, Leeds Craftivists will be campaigning on Climate Racism. Join a community of local activists using craft to encourage those in power to make change happen.
We welcome anyone with any craft or activism experience, or none! Craft materials will be provided and you are also very welcome to bring your own craft project. You only need to sign up once to come to any or all of our meetings.
For more information about Leeds Craftivists, please visit the Leeds Sanctuary website.
