P.P. Arnold
Since she became London’s ‘First Lady of Soul’ back in the 60s, P.P. Arnold is a real Soul Survivor, still going strong! The term ‘well-established’ might be appropriate for some artists but it barely begins to cover the career of the phenomenal P.P. Arnold, whose records and performances are now in their sixth decade. Her consistently excellent music covers multiple genres; her high-profile admirers and collaborators are plentiful. She is one of the iconic faces of London’s Swinging 60s.
Her autobiography Soul Survivor released in 2022 is one of musical highs, personal lows and extraordinary endurance. Attending a P.P. Arnold show promises an evening filled with soulful music, heartfelt performances, and a showcase of her enduring talent and charisma. Whether performing in intimate venues or larger halls, P.P. Arnold creates a warm and engaging atmosphere, connecting deeply with her audience as she sings many of her classic recordings like The First Cut is the Deepest, Angel of the Morning and more, while sharing many of her remarkable adventures.
