Robert Sharpe has been Director of Music at York Minster since September 2008, having previously held posts at Truro Cathedral, Lichfield Cathedral, St Albans Abbey and Exeter College, Oxford. He includes music by his famous predecessor at York, Francis Jackson, a movement of JS

Bach’s contrapuntal masterpiece The Musical Offering, and finishes with Percy Whitlock’s second Fantasie Choral, a regular favourite in the Leeds series.
