The Cardi Arms Knees Up

28th June 2024

Pack up your troubles and get ready for the FIRST CARDI ARMS KNEES UP! A night of interactive 1940s themed entertainment in the heart of one of Leeds’ best known heritage pubs.

Hosted by Mrs Ossett, Charwoman at the Cardigan Arms, expect a night of traditional sing-a-long tunes, with some more ‘contemporary’ tunes thrown in for good measure. Musicians will support the rowdy and raucous singing, and a SURPRISE GUEST ACT will take you back to a time when a pint cost 11 pence. (No, the bar won’t be serving at 1940s prices).

Run of the Mill History is a project by historical interpreter and performer Jude Kershaw showcasing the lives of working class and minority communities throughout history. Don’t forget to follow our Instagram for casting calls and events.
