Treasures of Temple Newsam Farm
Pop along to our working farm to meet the first of our new born lambs!
Temple Newsam Home Farm is one of the largest rare-breed farms in the country and our collection of sheep, cows, pigs and goats is one of the many treasures that Temple Newsam estate holds.
Check out our children’s farm trail and learn about the lives and jobs of the people who lived and worked on the farm in years gone by. Whose job would you have picked?
Admission includes a session in the Play Barn, our new indoor adventure play facility in the old Cow Byre; with two play zones, one for toddlers and one for children up to 12 years old, it’s perfect for families looking for fun whatever the weather.
Home Farm, the Play Barn and Cafés are open every day of the week during half term, and there will be self-led craft activities in the Joiner’s shop.
Make a whole day of it and book a joint ticket with Temple Newsam House.
