Women of Soul Play Left Bank
Join us for a smooth Saturday featuring the best classic Northern Soul and Motown, R&B, SKA and Popular Soul music presented by Original Scene Legends plus Life Long and Next Gen Soul Sisters and Rude Girls.
This vinyl-only celebration will kick off at 3pm for all you early birds with Caribbean Food on the menu from the gorgeous people at Cook & Curry alongside vinyl collectors, vintage scene and merchandise traders.
Expect dance-floor fillers, rare vinyl and non-stop dancing right through to 11pm.
Left Bank is a beautiful Grade II* Listed Former Church Building in the heart of Hyde Park in Leeds – expect good vibes, a solid dance floor and plenty of tables and seating to relax and take a breath.
Our DJs for this session will take you on a journey through their collections – headed up by Ell Vasey (Smokestack/Wharf Chambers) our house team includes DJs Delia, Ruth Cherry and Janet Mae alongside absolute diamond Richard James (Baby Jupiter, Juicebox, Popstarz).
We are delighted to welcome our special guest DJs Julie Krlic and Shirley ‘Sheriff’ Stevenson to Left Bank! Our Queens of the Scene will be setting the standard for an unforgettable pre-Christmas get down on the dance floor.
Tickets are £8. There’s ample free parking around Left Bank if you are driving to us, we are a 5 minute walk from Burley Station and the number 19 bus stops just outside the venue.
