Bramham Park Fun Run 2020
Spend your Sunday morning in the grounds of one of Yorkshire's most beautiful estates and join us at Bramham Park Fun Run 2020! The Fun Run is an annual 5K and 10K event held in Wetherby, Leeds every year in aid of Cancer Research UK. It's an enjoyable morning with beautiful scenery and race options to suit all ages and abilities. Rally up your family, friends and colleagues and join us to support a great cause. Don't worry if you're not the fastest runner or the quickest walker, this race is about having fun! All entrants will receive a finishers medal and goodies. Individual race times are published on our website. As a UKA licensed event, club affiliated runners race times are also included in the Run Britain handicap scoring updates and Power of 10 website. The race village opens at 9:15am and the races start at 10:30am. On the day you will have access to free parking, refreshments and children’s entertainment. We welcome supporters to cheer along their loved ones. The route Two routes offered are: 5K and 10K circuits. The 10K is designed for runners - most of the route is on tarmac paths and country trails with a few quite testing hills. Under UK Athletics rules and regulations, participants of the 10K must be at least 15 years of age on the day of the event. The 5K is virtually all on trails with a few hills; it is designed for fun runners, walkers and family groups. Cancer Research UK The money raised from the event goes to Cancer Research UK to fund research happening right here in Leeds, delivering improvements in cancer treatments at a local, national and international level. Since the Fun Run began in 1999, over £200,000 has been raised. Let's beat cancer sooner.
