A look at some of the wonderful (and sometimes weird) items donated to Abbey House Museum by the Dearlove family in 1955. Mark Dearlove set up as a violin maker in Boar Lane in 1809 and for over 40 years the shop was recreated in the Abbey House streets. His many descendants included enough musicians to create their own orchestra. Talk is £5.45 and includes entry to the rest of the museum. Payment is taken on the day. To book, please ring 0113 3784079, or email abbey.house@leeds.gov.uk.
