Film Africa 2020 Baobab Award 2
The second programme of five short films nominated for this year’s Film Africa Baobab Award includes Egyptian drama Henet Ward about Halima, a Sudanese henna artist who is called upon to paint the bride-to-be of a well-off Egyptian family, but the day does not go to plan. Ghanaian film Da Yie follows a day in the lives of Matilda and Prince, two impressionable children as they encounter Bogah, an adult with nefarious intentions.
