Silent Night – an evening of peace, tranquillity & meditation

  • Disabled toilets
  • On-site light refreshments
8th December 2020 - 8th December 2020

Gosh, it's been a stressful year hasn't it? With Christmas just around the corner, it's even more important to take some time out for a breather before the festive season begins.

Ben Cummins, your host for this evening, has been a practising meditator for 23 years. He will guide you through a meditation called Vipassana, which helps to relieve stress and anxiety, and bring us closer to inner peace.

We are accelerating upon the information highway. The engine we call mind is overheating. Slow down and take the next exit.

Follow the signs towards silence.

The evening’s sitting will be candle-lit, with subtle sound and a fragrant spirit dancing in the air. Join your local community for this festive hour and together we’ll share our presence. You may wish to bring a small blanket. Cushions are provided.

Our cafe will be open for festive hot chocolates and spiced mulled fruit juices.

We expect to be in tier 3 restrictions when this event runs. If you are booking more than one ticket, everyone you book for must live in the same household. Masks must be worn on entry and when walking around the venue, but you may remove them when seated.

Money raised through this event supports Left Bank Leeds Charitable Trust, charity no. 1146734.

Please note, we take photos at our events for marketing purposes. If you would prefer not to appear in our images, it is your responsibility to speak to a member of staff at the event, in order to seek out the photographer and inform them of your wishes.
