The UCI Road World Championships is one of the most prestigious events on the professional cycling calendar.

The UCI Road World Championships is one of the most prestigious events on the professional cycling calendar. The event takes place over nine days from 22nd-29th September 2019, in locations across Yorkshire, with Harrogate being the hub. The event includes individual and team time trials as well as full road races for Under 18, Under 23 and elite riders.

Leeds is the starting location for the Men’s Elite Road Race on 29th September and is the nearest city to Harrogate, just over 30 minutes by car or train.

The event includes a range of men’s and women’s races, across age groups from junior to elite, starting in different towns and cities throughout Yorkshire with each finishing in Harrogate.
