One of the most exciting additions to the sports scene in Leeds in recent years is arguably Leeds Knights, the city’s professional ice hockey team. Leeds Knights call Planet Ice their home, and played their first fixture just back in 2020.

Currently Leeds Knights play in the National League, alongside teams such as Telford Tigers, Sheffield Steeldogs, and Swindon Wildcats. The seasons typically have around 48 games for each team, each with approximately 60 minutes of play time split between 3 x 20 minutes of play, and 2 x 15 minute intervals.
