Things to do
Monday 2 November 2020
As we enter into a second lockdown, our priority at Visit Leeds is to play our part and do what we can to keep our visitors, students and residents as safe as possible. Our businesses, attractions, museums, galleries and cafes and restaurants have worked really hard as restrictions lifted to make sure their venues are safe and enjoyable. Our fantastic city is well known for community spirit and collaboration amongst all those people who live, work, study and visit here.
We’ll be ready when you are to welcome you back.
In the meantime we will be updating these pages with information about what you can do and enjoy safely in Leeds. You can head to our handy A-Z Guide and also to our Leeds At Home page to find out which restaurants are operating take-aways and which online and outdoor activities you can still take advantage of.
Our city always has an answer for ‘what’s next?’
Step through the doors of renowned galleries and exhibitions to find the inspiration within. Sample the vibrant independent food scene, and the crackling energy of cocktail bars and bustling pubs. Or hit the shops, bagging big brands and quirky finds. Then there’s the great outdoors. Sprawling parks, historic estates, and the beauty of the Dales. So what’s next?
"We're Good To Go"
VisitBritain / VisitEngland have launched a UK-wide industry standard and consumer mark to provide a ‘ring of confidence’ for tourism as the sector works towards reopening. “We’re Good To Go” is the official UK mark to signal that a tourism and hospitality business has worked hard to follow Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and has a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing. So when you see this logo in windows, on websites and on social media, you can be reassured these places are safe to visit.
