100 DAYS TO GO UNTIL THE HUNDRED RETURNS TO HEADINGLEY BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER

The exhilarating 100-ball cricket competition – The Hundred – is heading back to Headingley cricket ground this summer. Returning for its fifth year, Northern Superchargers team will face off against four rival teams, with each match day featuring both men’s and women’s games back-to-back.

The first fixture will see Northern Superchargers up against Welsh Fire on Thursday 7 August, with the women’s game getting underway at 15:00pm and the men’s team taking to the pitch from 18:30pm.

The Hundred brings together live music, top DJs, street food, and world-class cricket -making it the ultimate day out for families who love sport and entertainment. With tickets starting from just £5 for under-16s and £18 for adults, it’s fantastic value. Plus, at Headingley, families can enjoy the action from dedicated family seating, designed to create a welcoming, fun-filled atmosphere for fans of all ages.

Returning for the fifth year running, local hero’s and England stars Adil Rashid and Harry Brook will be back with the men’s team, who will also be joined by South African superstar – David Miller. Heading up the women’s team for 2025, is local hero Hollie Armitage and international Australian stars, Phoebe Litchfield, Georgia Wareham and Annabel Sutherland.

Following the first game, Northern Superchargers will then play Birmingham Phoenix (15 August), Oval Invincibles (23 August), and finally Manchester Originals (26 August) in what looks set to be an unmissable and action-packed tournament. Each ticket gives fans access to both the men’s and women’s matches on each day, with almost 6,000 tickets already sold for the Oval Invincibles game.
