JULY AT LEEDS HERITAGE THEATRES

Summer at Leeds Heritage Theatres brings sizzling entertainment, searing drama and scorching musicals. Watch The Girl On The Train from the edge of your seat or prepare to be astonished as Derren Brown takes your breath away with his mind-blowing new show Only Human.

 

The smash-hit SIX also makes its royal return after its previous sold-out visits before the Olivier-Award-winning Fiddler On The Roof arrives at Leeds Grand Theatre in what is set to be the theatrical event of the year.

 

Over at City Varieties, Leeds Grand Youth Theatre promises a delicious time as the thriving, vibrant young company presents their 12th full-scale musical with their production of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Operation Mincemeat: Mon 7 – Sat 12 September 2026

Operation Mincemeat is the 2024 Olivier Award-winning Best New Musical and a Tony-nominated Best Musical on Broadway! Singin’ in the Rain meets Strangers on a Train, Operation Mincemeat is the fast-paced, hilarious and unbelievable true story of the twisted secret mission that won us World War II.

Leeds Grand Youth Theatre (LGYT) presents its 12th full-scale musical, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The world-famous Willy Wonka is opening the gates to his mysterious factory… but only to a lucky few. Young Charlie Bucket and four other golden ticket winners will embark on a life-changing journey through Wonka’s world of pure imagination

 

Albert Lee: Wed 30 July
