STEVEN FRAYNE ANNOUNCES A WEEK OF UP CLOSE MAGIC SHOWS FOR BRADFORD 2025 UK CITY OF CULTURE

7th October 2025

The world-famous magician Steven Frayne will return to his home city of Bradford this December for an exclusive UK City of Culture residency at intimate pop-up venue Loading Bay from Monday 1 to Sunday 7 December – offering audiences a unique showcase of magic from across his incredible career to date.

Best known for his headline grabbing stunts, boundary breaking cinematic TV specials and awe-inspiring arena shows across the world, Steven Frayne (formerly known as Dynamo) will bring a special ‘hometown’ performance of his critically acclaimed live show Up Close and Magical to the city. Retitled Back Home and Magical, the show will offer people the chance to experience the power and wonder of Steven’s magic up close – with nothing to hide.

Steven Frayne says “It’s been incredible to be a part of this year’s UK City of Culture, celebrating my home city and sharing in the joy with my friends and family. After performing to around 20,000 people in City Park for the opening show back in January, it’s super exciting to be doing something on a smaller scale and embracing the magic that is within the community.”

Tickets will be released on Wednesday 8 October at 10am available from bradford2025.co.uk
