Alwoodley Community Association
Alwoodley Community Association (ACA) was established in 1948 and the original Community Hall, built by Alwoodley residents with money raised by them, was opened in 1949. The ACA provides sports and other recreational activities for its members.
ACA Social Club Ltd is affiliated to ACA and operates the licensed bar that is open on evenings and weekends to members.
ACA facilities include the Main Hall, smaller meeting rooms, a lounge bar and a family room with big screen TV. Outside we have three tennis courts and a football pitch.
There are many sections running different activities catering for members of all ages and a wide range of interests as well a number of external organisations which use the premises to offer classes and activities.
