It’s the most wonderful time of the year to see Santa Claus

Make spirits bright this Christmas by meeting Santa during his visit to Leeds.

Santa is hard at work with Mrs Claus and the elves getting ready for Christmas this year, he’s making a stop in Leeds to be able to meet you all! Whether it’s a visit to his grotto, enjoying a festive party tea, or hearing stories from Mrs Claus – there is something for everyone.

 

Santa Visits Kirkgate Market

Kirkgate Market, Vicar Lane, Leeds City Centre, LS2 7HY

Saturday 6th, 13th and 20th December, and Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd December 2025, 12.00pm-3.00pm

Enjoy the most wonderful time of the year with a trip to see Santa at Kirkgate Market, you can even have your photo taken with him!

Visits to Santa are free.

 

Stop by Santa Claus’ Magical Grotto

22nd November to 24th December, 11am-6pm

Head to the Merrion Centre this festive season to find Santa, his helpers and all their presents in his magical Winter grotto!

Meet Father Christmas and join Mrs Claus’ Storytime

Saturdays and Sundays from 6th December to 23rd December

Explore the beautifully decorated house, Meet Father Christmas, and leave with an early Christmas present to take home. You can also join Mrs Claus for a magical Festive Storytime. Relaxed sessions are available for both experiences, as well as ‘Baby’s first Christmas’ which offers a shorter visit and a baby-friendly gift. Feeling crafty? There are also many festive crafts and activities for you to enjoy.

A ticket to meet Santa costs £12 per child. All accompanying visitors must have a general admission ticket.

Get ready for festive magic when Santa returns to Middleton Railway this December! The much-loved Santa Special train rides are back for 2025, with decorations, gifts, and family fun all along the track. On your journey to the park and back Santa will have a specially chosen present for each child.

Get festive at The Christmas Experience

Lotherton, Off Collier Lane, Aberford, Leeds, LS25 3EB

You don’t need to travel to the North Pole, Santa is setting up at Lotherton Hall! Take a magical journey through a snowy wonderland with Mrs Claus and the elves, before meeting Santa

himself. Pre-schoolers can join a more gentle, shorter, weekday opportunity to meet Santa. Both experiences include a Christmas gift.

A ticket to see Santa costs £16.95 for a child. 2 adults can accompany each sibling group.

Father Christmas Experience

Step into a world of wonder as your family joins Father Christmas and his merry band of elves in preparing for a once-in-a-century celebration: The North Pole’s Royal Ball! Children will become part of the festive preparations, and will help Father Christmas choose an enchanted outfit for this extraordinary event.

A ticket to see Santa costs £37.00 per person, includes access to Christmas at Harewood, the Gardens and a car park pass.

Head on down to the Victorian Street of Abbey House and meet Santa in the snowy square, next to his grotto. Make sure to write a list and pop it in the postbox for Santa to read later!
