THOR’S tipi bar returns to Leeds City Square, kickstarting summer with a lineup of live music, themed events & cocktails galore

The longships are landing and the canvas is rising as THOR’S tipi returns 5pm on the 14^th May 2026 to take over LEEDS’ city centre.

This year, THOR’S is kicking off summer in style, offering a free drink to the first 100 people through the doors on opening night. With no catch and no gimmicks, guests simply need to gather their friends, head to City Square and claim their reward.

The tipi bar will be fully stocked for the season ahead, featuring draft pints from local favourites such as Northern Monk, a dedicated spritz cocktail menu, and standout serves including the indulgent Dirty Dr Pepper cocktail.

Over the Summer Season and under the canvas, the venue will host a lively programme of entertainment, including free live music, showcasing local talent every Thursday from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Each Friday a new series of themed nights will offer something for everyone. From Wild West nights and Hawaiian luaus to masquerade balls and a summer Oktoberfest, each event promises to be creative and fun!

THOR’S will also offer a range of family-friendly activities, including Family Raves, free “Let’s Create” craft tables, and table tennis in its pocket park space.
