Leeds Christmas Markets return 19 November to 23 December 2026

This year, Leeds Christmas Markets offer a distinctly local flavour. For 2026, City Square transforms into a green and twinkling Evergreen Winter Wonderland, filled with Christmas trees and celebrating Yorkshire makers, independent businesses and fantastic local food and drink.

Alongside the festive favourites at Millennium Square and Victoria Gardens, there’s plenty to browse, taste and enjoy. Leeds Christmas Markets at City Square

At the heart of this year’s Christmas Markets, is Thor’s Winter Village at City Square, which is all about celebrating brilliant local and independent businesses. Browse the stalls, discover Yorkshire makers and come hungry, with some familiar Leeds favourites and regional producers serving up plenty of festive food and drink along the way.

The festive market atmosphere doesn’t end at City Square. A short, festive stroll up through the city centre leads to Millennium Square and Victoria Gardens, where you can find a whole host of stalls, rides and experiences including the traditional Carousel, the Big Wheel and Ice Cube ice-skating.

Here, traditional Bavarian-inspired market cabins bring classic continental treats, sizzling German currywurst, festive sweet treats, and glühwein bars. Combine your gift shopping with a skate across the 400-square-metre covered open-air ice rink, or take a nostalgic spin on the family carousel and funfair rides.
