Fantastically Great Women Who Changed the World: Until Sun 3 March

Join our inquisitive heroine Jade as she breaks away from her class to peek behind the scenes at the not-yet-open Gallery of Greatness in the local museum. Along her journey, she is surprised to meet the incredible wonder women: Frida Kahlo, Rosa Parks, Amelia Earhart, Mary Seacole, Marie Curie and Emmeline Pankhurst to name just a few.

 

We’re Going on a Bear Hunt: Fri 1 – Sun 3 March

Join our intrepid family of adventurers and their musical dog on a quest to find a bear; as they wade through the gigantic swishy swashy grass, the splishy splashy river and the thick oozy, squelchy mud! Expect catchy songs, interactive scenes, plenty of adventure and a few surprises along the way.

 

Northern Ballet’s Romeo & Juliet: Fri 8 – Sat 16 March

In the ultimate tale of forbidden love, two young people risk everything to be together. Adapted by Christopher Gable and Massimo Moricone, Romeo & Juliet is one of Northern Ballet’s most beloved and critically acclaimed productions.

 

The Drifters Girl: Tue 19 – Sat 23 March

Discover the remarkable story of The Drifters and the truth about the woman who made them. This smash-hit show has audiences on their feet night after night with a phenomenal soundtrack packed full of iconic The Drifters hits including Saturday Night At The Movies, Save The Last Dance For Me and Stand By Me.

 

LAOS presents Legally Blonde The Musical: Tue 26 – Sat 30 March

Leeds Amateur Operatic Society, The Musical Theatre Group, presents the fabulously fun international award-winning musical based on the adored movie. Legally Blonde The Musical follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery, and scandal in pursuit of her dreams.

The award-winning Daniel Martinez Flamenco Company presents its long-awaited second production Andalucia, a stunning flamenco production accompanied by a chamber orchestra.

 

Scandaltown: Thu 21 – Sat 23 March

After discovering her twin brother Jack’s illicit lifestyle, Miss Phoebe Virtue journeys down to London in disguise to put her brother on the right track. However, she ends up discovering more than she bargained for when worlds collide at the Netflix Masked Ball.

 

We’re Not Going Back: Thu 28 – Fri 29 March

From Red Ladder Theatre Company, We’re Not Going Back tackles the resilience of working communities, the make-and-mend fabric of family and the power of sticking two fingers up to a government hell-bent on destruction… and all with humour, song, and a six pack of Babycham.
