Mother’s Day Afternoon with Nyetimber at Harewood House

Enjoy a perfectly British Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea experience as Harewood House and Nyetimber English Sparkling Wine launch their partnership.

Harewood House, one of the esteemed Treasure Houses of England, set in the heart of rural Yorkshire, famous for its ‘Capability’ Brown landscapes, impressive art collection including works by JMW Turner; El Greco, Renaissance masterpieces, exquisite Thomas Chippendale furniture and fabulous Robert Adam interiors, all combined with 100 acres of award-winning Gardens.

Ahead of opening for the 2024 season on 22 March, Harewood House will be launching a luxurious Afternoon Tea experience celebrating Mother’s Day and to mark the beginning of their partnership with Nyetimber, producers of exceptional, world renowned, English Sparkling wines.

A Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea experience and admission to Harewood’s Spring Artisan Market will be available on 9 & 10 March. Harewood’s Chef will prepare a seasonal selection of sandwiches; crayfish salad, chicken liver parfait and sweet treats, including; gin, lemon & elderflower ‘Victoria Sponge’, Earl Grey cake with mascarpone frosting and raspberry, rose and pistachio shortbread.
Harewood uses fresh ingredients, some of which are lovingly grown on the Harewood estate.

Nyetimber, the leading English Sparkling Wine, is renowned for meticulously crafting exceptional wines using handpicked estate-grown grapes from its eleven vineyards in the southeast of England. The Nyetimber brand story is filled with decades of pioneering spirit, and a passion for uncompromising quality, making them the perfect partner for Harewood House.

Visitors to Harewood House can experience Nyetimber from 9 March at the Terrace Cafe and as part of Harewood’s private dining experience. Nyetimber Classic Cuvee Multi-Vintage and Nyetimber Cuvee Chérie will be available by the glass, whilst Nyetimber Rosé Multi-Vintage, Nyetimber Blanc de Blancs 2016 Vintage, and 1086 by Nyetimber, England’s first Prestige Cuvees will be available by the bottle. Nyetimber will also be available to purchase in Harewood House retail.
