New Indian Food Tour comes to Leeds.

Yorkshire Appetite Food Tours have several successful food tours around the county and have now started their first event in Leeds.  Food Tours are a fantastic way to get to know a city and its food and drink scene.  A knowledgeable local guides a small group of visitors around several restaurants and they will taste a different dish in each place, having the equivalent of a very good lunch.   They discover not only the food but the stories behind the people and venues and gain an interesting insight into the city and its history.

This tour is the first one of Yorkshire Appetite’s food tours to focus on one particular cuisine and it visits four of the most popular Indian restaurants in Leeds with authentic flavoursome cuisine.   Visitors will not only go on a journey around the city centre but a taste journey around India, enjoying dishes from a variety of regions.   Running every Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon, it is a small group tour which anyone can join and lasts for 3 hours.

Yorkshire Appetite Food Tours was started in 2017 by Kay Atkinson, an ex-teacher with a love of travel and food who discovered food tours herself in Chicago in 2011.   Starting with a Harrogate tour, they have grown to now include more tours including a very popular York Food Tour.  All their tours can cater for specific dietary requirements if informed at time of booking.   We have been finalists in the York Tourism Awards and Harrogate Hospitality Awards and have a Travellers Choice award on Trip Advisor.
