Jake’s Bar

Jake’s Bar has long been renowned for the quality and selection of our cocktails and mixed drinks, our latest list includes the pick of our favourite Jake’s Bar creations from the last few years, a good sprinkling of timeless classics and a few, more experimental, combinations assembled from our unique Distilled Spirits of Leeds.

The rooms which house Jakes Bar have been used for many things over the years, originally constructed to house the heating systems for the stores of the grain traders who operated from the floors above in more recent times they were home to a record shop, the offices of our sister bar Oporto and a good proportion of it was buried 10 feet below the old Corn Exchange Car Park. Happier times lay ahead though and in September of 2004 the three separate units were combined into one to become Jakes Bar and Grill, an instant success which quickly cemented itself as a firm favourite on the Leeds Bar scene and played host to many a memorable evening.
