Travelling by Car
Leeds is located at the crossroads of the M62 and the M1 and just a few kilometres from the A1. When entering the City follow the brown road signs for Leeds Playhouse at Quarry Hill just off the A64 York Road in the centre of Leeds or you can follow the City Centre Loop signs. Major attractions, including Leeds Playhouse, are identified on the Loop signs. The Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre is at Loop Junction 12. Our postcode for your Sat Nav is LS2 7PA

Northern Ballet
Northern Ballet is the UK’s foremost narrative ballet company. Telling unexpected stories that move audiences across the country and online, they aim to reach as many different people and places as possible with passionate storytelling, mastery of classical dance technique and live music.

The state-of-the-art building in Quarry Hill, open to the public, is the largest centre for dance outside of London and boasts the biggest rehearsal studio in Europe. The building, shared with Phoenix Dance Theatre, has dance classes for all, the 230 seat Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre, space hire and a relaxing cafe bar. It is also home to Northern Ballet Academy.
