Sukhothai

Sukhothai is the home of authentic Thai cuisine in Yorkshire, with three restaurants across the region: two in Leeds – in Chapel Allerton and on South Parade in Leeds City Centre, plus our Harrogate restaurant.

Our South Parade restaurant, which first opened its doors in August 2012, has in 2026 undergone a significant transformation, unveiling a stunning new dining area and an exciting new menu. Open daily, the restaurant offers all the usual Sukhothai quality, alongside our weekend bottomless brunch and early evening menu – perfect for city centre dining, whatever the occasion. South Parade is also home to our elegant private dining room, a favourite setting for celebrations, corporate events and intimate gatherings, with all the authentic flavours of Sukhothai in your own exclusive space.

Since 2002, Head Chef & Owner Ban Kaewkraikhot has won a passionate following with her unique mix of innovative Thai food and friendly service. Her efforts have been rewarded with rave reviews, numerous awards and six appearances in The Good Food Guide.
