Travelling by Train
Yorkshire Dance is situated in the cultural quarter of Leeds City Centre. We are opposite the BBC building and Leeds Conservatoire, next door to the Wardrobe Bar. Yorkshire Dance is two minutes walk from Leeds city bus station and 15 minutes walk from the train station.
Yorkshire Dance
Yorkshire Dance is a regional charity which works through dance to create happiness, health, connection and change.
Our venue is based in Leeds City Centre and houses studios and a theatre space. We run dance classes throughout the week. We hold annual festivals bringing ground breaking local and international dance artists to Leeds to perform and lead workshops and talks. All our festival events are Pay What You Can.
Yorkshire Dance aims to be an accessible and inclusive place for all. We create a ‘braver space’, where you feel able to express yourself in a supportive and empowering way. You will be treated with respect by Yorkshire Dance staff and we expect and encourage everyone who uses our venue to do the same.
Yorkshire Dance is also a hub from the arts community in Leeds providing office space for small creative businesses and an artist co-working space.
